Sunday afternoon, several hundred people came together at SVHS for the Fabulous Women’s Colors of Courage event.  We collected over 1000 toys, worth over $5,000, $300 in Itune cards etc, and we raised funds for Delaney’s medical bills.Baloon release

T shirts are still available for sale in the front office for $10.  All proceeds continue to benefit the two causes.  Special thanks to the Fabulous Women of Petaluma for their leadership and organization of this great gathering of families.  Petaluma Police Officers supported the toy drive and Gabe Kearney and Mike Harris joined in the afternoon event as well.

Everyone assembled to hear from SVHS students and cancer survivors Delaney Frey, Ellie O’Neill and Victor Matthias.  Martha Domont, owner of Petaluma Valley Athletic Club and a cancer survivor told her story and pledged to keep a toy donation box at the front desk of PVAC for the UCSF Pediatric Oncology Unit.  Casa Grande basketball coach and teacher James Forni spoke about his own personal journey and why he will not let his battle with cancer define him.

The program concluded with Rev. Gary Lombardi leading a prayer and and a balloon release in the school’s quadrangle with the Timothy O’Neill Band playing Stand By Me.

T Shirts are on Sale for $10 each in the front office.
