Welcome to the St. Vincent de Paul High School Scholarship page! There are multiple ways to support our existing scholarships…for example:
St. Vincent de Paul and the Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary (BVM) Scholarship Fund.
In 1831 five women in Dublin, Ireland, led by Mary Frances Clarke, came together to teach the poor children of the city. The Sisters also became engaged with the issues of the times: social justice, equality, inclusiveness, peace and ecology.
This scholarship honors the Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the order that first taught and founded our school. You can honor a loved one (parent, son, daughter, etc.) or friend and your loved one’s name will be listed for that year under our most honored scholarship. You can also give a memorial donation in a loved one’s name and have their name appear on this scholarship for that year.
What is endowed scholarship?
Once a scholarship balance reaches $10,000, it is at endowment status and will be invested to grow over time and provide earnings on an annual basis that can be awarded to students. St. Vincent de Paul High School utilizes the Petaluma Educational Foundation (PEF) to house all of our endowments. PEF’s Endowment is managed by Exchange Bank Wealth Management with oversight by PEF’s Investment Advisory Committee.
