The St. Vincent basketball teams recorded their 2nd 4-for-4 night in a row with Upper Lake HS being the Mustang’s latest victim. The JV girls basketball team started the night off with a 32-19 win followed by the JV boys 51-23. The Varsity women were up next with a 67-24 victory with every player contributing to the scoring on the night. Senior Ellie O’Neal led the scoring with 17 points followed by Senior Grace Jennings with 11 and Senior Rebecca Dodele with 9. The women are currently 7-0 in league and 12-5 overall. Capping off the night with the final game were the Varsity men with a 61-51 result and Junior Grant DeVoe getting hot with 21 points. Seniors Zach Pierson and Chris Faulknor chipped in 14 each to round out the scoring for the Mustangs.The Mustang men are making a push in league after having a rough preseason. They are currently in 4th place at 4-3 and 6-12 overall.
The next game for all 4 teams, will be Monday, January 27th vs. Roseland Prep. This game was to take place on Friday, but has been rescheduled for Monday.
