The softball team traveled to Upper Lake yesterday and came away with a 13-0 win over the Cougars. Hannah Sarlatte was the winning pitcher of record with 10 strikeouts, 2 walks, and she gave up 3 hits. Ursyla Baumgarten led the Mustang hitters going 3×4 with 2 doubles and 2 RBIs. Other contributors at the plate were Olivia Sikora 2×3 (RBI), Haley Antonini 2×4 (2B, RBI), Rainey Henry 2×4 (3B), and Kaitlyn DeLaMontanya 2×2 (2 RBI). The team has yet to yield a run in league play and remain undefeated at 8-0. The overall record for the Mustangs continues to rise and is now 9-7. At the start of the season, the Mustangs were struggling at 1-7 after completing a tough preseason schedule. Next game will be tomorrow at Rincon Valley Christian.
