How do I get information about St. Vincent de Paul High School?
Admissions information for the 2010-2011 school year is always available online or by calling Jody Tobin at (707) 763-1032, ext. 113.

When does the application process begin?
The process begins with our OPEN HOUSE on Sunday, October 3, 2010. A short introduction and presentation will begin at 1:00 p.m. followed by informal classroom visits. Faculty will be available. Student club and sport team representatives will also be here for you to find out more about the extra curricular activities available during the school year. All middle school students, family and friends are welcome! No reservation required, the only thing you should bring are your questions to be answered!

Can I come visit?
Yes, we offer parent tours on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 9:00 a.m. The tours are approximately one hour long. For more information or to schedule a visit please contact Jody Tobin at (707) 763-1032, ext. 113 or email her at jtobin@svhs-pet.org.

For 8th grade students, we offer our "Mustang for a Day" Student Shadow Program. Our guests will spend the day with an Ambassador who will lead them through their scheduled classes and lunch. Guests should arrive by 8:00a.m. and will complete their day at 1:25p.m. Reservations are a must. When do I have to submit my application? Do I have to take a test?
Your application must be submitted prior to your scheduled High School Placement Test(HSPT). All students are required to take the HSPT. Our priority test date is Saturday, December 4, 2010 and the make up test is on Saturday, January 8, 2011. The application and testing fee is $75.00 by December 4, 2010 or $100.00 after December 4, 2010. Application fee only is $50.00 before December 4, 2010 and $75.00 after December 4, 2010.

Do I have to wear a uniform?
No, we do not have uniforms but we do have a dress code. All students must wear a polo shirt. They may wear pants or jeans that fit them and may not have any holes or frayed hems. Shorts are acceptable as long as they are walking shorts or reach the knees. Skirts for girls must touch the knees. All shoes must be closed toed. No facial piercing or tatoos. Hair is to be above the collar for boys, no odd colors or styles. Boys must be clean shaven.

How big is your school?
We can accommodate 400 students, 100 per grade.

How much is the tuition?
For the 2010-2011 school year, our tuition per student is $10,500.00. We have a registration fee of $425.00 and a family building assessment fee of $400.00. Books will cost between $250.00-500.00 per student.

Is there Financial Assistance?
Yes, St. Vincent awards financial assistance based upon financial need. A seperate financial assistance application must be submitted. We also have scholarships available for all students. For the 2009-2010 school year we awarded $317, 750.00 in financial assistance and scholarships to approximately 22% of our student body.

What type of sports do you have?
We have a wide range of athletic teams, from Freshman, Junior Varsity and Varsity offered for both boys and girls. Sports vary by season. Fall sports are: Cross Country, Soccer, Volleyball and Football. Winter sports are: Basketball. Springs sports are: Tennis, Golf, Baseball, Softball, Track and Field, and Swimming. We are strong competitors and hold a multitude of league and conference titles. We are especially looking forward to this year's sport teams as they will be competing on our new all turf athletic sports field.

What colleges and universities do your graduates attend?
We have a strong college preparatory curriculum, so it is not surprising that our students are well prepared for their college experience. The Class of 2010 was awarded over $4.7 in scholarships and grants. The Class of 2010 was accepted at the following colleges and universities:
