For the fourth year in a row, SVHS volleyball teams will be playing special matches on Thursday, October 17, dedicated to finding a cure for breast cancer. The JV team will play at 5, with the varsity team playing at 6:30. Baked goods and drinks will be on sale during the event, with all proceeds donated to the Side-Out Foundation. The Side-Out Foundation (Side-Out) was established in 2004 to unite volleyball players and coaches and to have them work toward the common goal of furthering breast cancer awareness, education and patient services. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for students. There is no charge for admission for children.
More information about the Side-Out Foundation is available at www.side-out.org. Questions? Please contact Teri Scott.
