Several hundred members of our Petaluma community came to DeCarli Gym Saturday, March 1 to support the family of Wayne Douglas and play a little basketball. Through the leadership of SV frosh basketball coach Chris Tobin ’80, parents Kerry (Browne) ’89 and Bill Pedersen the event raised over $10,000 for the Douglas Family. The day was filled with 3 on 3 half court basketball games starting with youth teams during the morning session and adult teams in the afternoon. Parent volunteers from St. Vincent High School managed the snack stand and T shirt sales with a wonderful afternoon barbecue in front of the gym.
Special thanks to our local partners who donated goods and prizes for the day.
