College Center – Junior and Senior Counseling

The College Center is an important and valuable resource for students to research colleges, majors and careers as they prepare to begin the college application process. Students and parents are welcome to visit and are encouraged to use the many resources of the Center which includes information on:

*Colleges and Universities
*Scholarships and financial aid
*Testing information
*Career information
*Community Service Opportunities

The Center hosts visits by college admissions officers who meet with students during the fall and sometimes in the spring. On-campus events offered by the Center include College Information Nights, Financial Aid Seminars and Case Study Nights. Naviance Family Connection Naviance Family Connection is a tool to help students through the college search and application process. At SVHS students are required to use Naviance Family Connection to facilitate the college search and application process, request letters of recommendations and have transcripts sent. We also use Family Connection to communicate about scholarships, college representative visits and more. Students each have their own account and parents are given a separate account.

If you have questions please do not hesitate to call, email or drop-in. Special appointments with students and/or parents can be made by request between 8:00am – 4:00pm.
