What is St. Vincent’s PFO?

PFO stands for Parents and Friends Organization. The St. Vincent’s PFO consists of parent community volunteers from both the elementary school and the high school. The members of the PFO meet monthly to discuss and plan for their three main fundraising events – the Annual Dinner Dance / Auction in the Fall, the Spring Rummage Sale, and the “Day on the Green” Golf Tournament (held every May).

What is the St. Vincent’s PFO Mission Statement?

The PFO’s mission, under the stewardship of elected board members, is to promote the academic, spiritual and social mission of the schools, to generate financial support in order to maintain reasonable tuition and fees, to assist with capital expenses, and to build Catholic values and community sprit among families.

What does this mean to my child attending a St. Vincent school?

Through their various annual events and programs, the PFO successfully raises many necessary funds. Since 1977, PFO has raised over $ 2.5 million dollars. This money helps keep tuition costs down and enables both schools to invest in technology and other capital expenses that keep the St. Vincent’s Schools at the forefront of education in the North Bay Area. Recent examples include new laptops for the teachers and funding for each campus to have Wi-Fi access.

How can I help?

– Volunteer for PFO Events

– Attend the PFO Events

– Donate $$ directly to the PFO

– Donate items for our Silent and Live Auctions (i.e. – tickets, vacation homes, hosted dinners, wine, memorabilia, electronics, etc.)

– Donate items to our Annual Rummage sale
