Hannah Sarlatte was the winning pitcher and hit a 3-run homer as the Mustangs beat Middletown 7-2. St. Vincent scored 4 runs in the 1st inning and were never threatened after that. Also contributing offensively were 3 freshmen – Haley Antonini with two hits and one RBI, McKenna Wilson-Kay with two hits including a double and two RBIs, and Kaitlyn DeLaMontanya with one hit and one RBI. The Mustangs are 1-2 early in this season and definitely show promise for a championship run.
