The mission of St. Vincent de Paul High School is to educate students through a college preparatory curriculum that develops their spiritual, academic, and social potential. As a Catholic school, we teach Gospel values and ideals and provide opportunities for our students to experience and grow in their faith. Our goal is for students to become compassionate, responsible and active members of their communities.
Our entire staff is dedicated to the success of every student! Our focus is on fostering their academic, social and spiritual development. This pays off greatly as the students matriculate to higher education. One need only look at what is produced – not just measured by impressive test scores or 100% college acceptance to know that this is a place where a difference is being made.
St. Vincent de Paul High school is an intentional learning community. The curricular program is guided by the mission statement of St. Vincent de Paul High School. It is college preparatory; most of our offerings have been approved of by the University of California as preparing the way for students to undertake a rigorous college experience. We offer Advanced Placement and Honors level classes across the spectrum of our course catalogue.
The purpose and goals of our Athletic Department mirror those of the school in general – to form young women and men who will be characterized by their competence, conscience, and compassion.
