Last week, the junior class of 2014 got up early to attend the justice education program at the St. Anthony’s Foundation in the Tenderloin of San Francisco. The students along with Ms. Scott and 22 parent volunteers did an excellent of becoming educated to social issues surrounding poverty and homelessness as well as serve the clients of St. Anthony’s Foundation. Participants delivered meals to the homebound through Salvation Army, sorted through clothing and shoes, prepared and served meals in the dining hall  in addition to participating in karaoke, games and martial arts with the elderly. It was a great day! Ask a junior what they did and how they felt! Most came away with more than they started with. St. Anthony’s justice education program is so strong, teaching to treat everyone like they are a child of God with DIGNITY and RESPECT.
